VR tours
Inspired by the unique spirit of some places in Saudi I started to do 360° Virtual Tours. The collection will grow slowly as those require more time to put all together.
The Mahajah (Mahjah, جبل محجه التاريخي) Arches landscape delivers extraordinary rock formations shaped by years of erosion. For the purpose of this virtual tour, I photograph the Arches which are located in the south part of the Nufud desert (Nefud Al-Kebir, صحراء النفود). In my opinion, one of the most outstanding natural structures in the region. The rock futures a large number of ancient carving representing camels and other animals. I tried my best to capture the spirit of the local nature during sunset time.

Those Stone Houses are located in the Masturah desert near Rabigh in KSA (GoogleMap). They are spread around the Kingdom of Saudi and can have different construction materials and purposes. More often found in the wadies or mountain part of the country. They are often constructed in the way that air constantly circulates inside and cooling the interior. The intake and outtake holes are located on opposite sides with hight which creates a natural gradient and results in the airflow. I have been told that watermelon seeds can last significantly longer without being deteriorated by dry heat. Not much information I could collect about them rather than they have been used for the leaving and storage of seasonal crops. Nowadays, they are usually empty and remain as symbol of the past era.
